California Film Industry, was founded to add value to the state of California 's film and television industry. We are committed to working with film commissions, major studios, independent film makers, public and private organizations, unions, and all related government agencies to make the film production experience in California the best and most affordable it can be. We recognize the problems that lead to production companies taking their business out of state and we will strive to find solid solutions to those problems and to create new incentives to film and post here in California.

California has more film and television talent, both above and below the line, than anywhere else in the world. These people make up the California Film Industry family and we as a family must work together to sustain our prosperity and continue to create the best film and television products in the world.

Our magazine, California Film Industry, will highlight a variety of subjects exemplifying the diversity of talent, the challenges and rewards of working in the business, and the sheer spectacle that is California.
